Well wireless charging fans, looks like another wish come true. Qualcomm has just announced their rumored wireless charging technology for electric vehicles. This technology will hit the market under the name of Qualcomm Halo (actual charging device pictured below)

This is big news for the hybrid community with electric charging stations still unavailable in most markets in the US.

Its amazing that this small piece of technology can power a car up to full charge in less than 2 hours. I have a feeling that this technology will be widely adopted due to the lack of wired electric car chargers in most of the markets in the US.

What do you think of this new technology? Will it work, will people embrace wireless car charging? Let us know in the comments.
