The Samsung Galaxy S3 was by far the most successful Samsung phone even surpassing the ever so popular Galaxy S2. Not only has it surpassed the S2 in sales it has also surpassed the iPhone 5 which is definitely making a statement. The s3 doesn’t stop there, more people recommend the Samsung Galaxy S3 than the iPhone 5. This is the first time Samsung or any other manufacturer has beaten Apple in the smartphone market. Samsung has essentially become the new “big dog” of the smartphone market because of one phone, the Galaxy S3. That’s certainly some pretty big steps to follow in and that’s exactly what Samsung is sending the S4 out to do.

The Samsung Galaxy S3 is going to be extremely hard to follow up being probably one of the top 3 selling phones ever. Can the Samsung Galaxy S4 better the S3? In my opinion in can but it needs some revolutionary hardware. Maybe a camera that beats the best smartphone camera available which would probably have to be the HTC One. Or maybe a screen that lets you just hover your finger above it without actually having to touch it which the S4 is already rumored to possess. If the S4 doesn’t bring something new to the table like that then realistically it will not fall anywhere close to the S3. Just slapping in a slightly better camera that is on par with every other smartphone coming out and then giving it an HD display that is slightly bigger just isn’t going to cut it.

Do you think the Samsung Galaxy S4 will be able to beat the Galaxy S3 sales wise? Let us know if you do and what your reasoning is down in the comments section.
