This morning Verizon has begun to push out the update to 4.4.2 for it’s Moto X, just like the soak test that went out yesterday. This update brings the Verizon Moto X up to date with the very latest version of Android putting it on par with the rest of the Moto X family and other flagship phones. It’s worth noting that this puts Motorola ahead of Samsung when it comes to update speed at least as far as the Moto X goes.

The update to the latest version of KitKat brings improved 3G and 4G stability, fixes a problem with call volume and MMS. Also in the update is improvements to the camera and auto-HDR.
