On my second Facebook question, this time to Verizon Wireless, I asked about the status of the LG Lucid Ice Cream Sandwich (Android 4.0) update. My girlfriend owns this device and we picked it up the day it came out for the low price, the mid range specs, AND THE PROMISE OF AN ICE CREAM SANDWICH UPDATE!

Looks like they still have no information to give. I also wrote on LG’s Facebook wall, but they returned no comment at this time.

Should device manufacturers and carriers give more concrete information on Android updates and should they be forced to stick to their given timeline? Let us know in the comments below!
