The Urbanears booth at CES Unveiled showed off it’s new pair of on-ear headphones called Humlan. Humlan’s headband and ear cushions can be removed and thrown in the wash with the rest of your clothes. Humlan is Urbanear’s only headphone (on-ear and in-ear) that has this “washable” function.

Humlan’s features include:

Machine Washable – Removable ear cushions and headband for easy wash and wear

ZoundPlug – Instant music sharing

3.5mm stereo plug for use with devices having a 3.5mm jack

Microphone and remote compatible with most devices using the unprotected 3.5mm standard

120cm/47” tangle resistant fabric and TPE cord with Kevlar® inside

One-year premium replacement warranty

Urbanears Humlan

Urbanears also has two other on-ear headphones: Zinken and Plattan. Zinken and Plattan are both collapsible, but Humlan is not. All three headphones have a function specific to Urbanears called ZoundPlug that allows you to share music with other people instantly. All you have to do is plug your headphones into another person’s empty outlet on their ear cap (there’s an outlet on each ear cap) and you get to listen to what the other person is listening to! Zinken is the only one of the three that also has a turncable which has a 3.5mm plug on one end and a 6.3mm plug on the other for DJ sessions. The microphone and remote function is really cool because it allows you to control your music and connect to your phone to take phone calls with the built-in microphone.
