unboxing the official n4 wireless charger

A couple days ago we reported about the Nexus 4’s wireless charger finally coming to market via the Google Play Store.  The charger has now arrived and we have made an unboxing video for you to see what is included in the package and a quick look at the device in use.

The wireless charging function is powered by the QI standard.  Unlike most phones, the Nexus 4 has the ability to wirelessly charge built right into it. This is a feature that can also be seen in the Lumia 920 and the HTC Droid DNA.

I believe that 2013 will be the year of wireless functions like wireless charging and wireless communication between smart devices and accessories (like Google Glass and smart watches).
