A significant change seems to have taken place over at twitter’s mobile website. It was discovered by the guys at The Sociable, the mobile tweet composer now has an image upload button in the bottom left corner. Unfortunately for users of Android below 4.0 this feature will not be available to them but if your using 4.0 or above then your golden. All you have to do is tap the button and it will take you to the standard android sharing window that will let you choose any picture that your heart desires. There is also a feature called “Android System” which lets you upload a picture directly from being taken from your camera.

This is more than likely a slight move by twitter to move away from third-party clients. But they still have a ways to go, the mobile website is still to glitchy and slow to offer a decent user experience. In the big picture of things twitter is ultimately moving away from third-party clients and all we can do is sit back and wait for it to happen completely which could be a nightmare.
