This afternoon the official Twitter app for Android was updated to version 4.0 which brings with it a huge UI overhaul including a long overdue update to Holo. Visually anyone who has used the Twitter app will notice the changes right off the bat, the app is much more smooth and clean looking and has a more Android inspired look to it. The layout is for the most part the same although something users can now do is swipe left or right to change between their feed and mentions and so forth, something that third party Twitter app have been doing for awhile now.

The updated app also now includes the ability to load tweeted content from other apps directly in said app. Overall the whole change to the app is a huge step in right direction and long overdue.
