One of the best parts of Android is the ability to have complete control of the device on the software side, one of the things that you can customize on your device is the lockscreen. There are many apps that will make your lockscreen look different or add some functionality to it but most of them are a little wonky, that’s why I wanted to show you guys a lockscreen app that works just as advertised. The app is called AcDisplay and it’s simple, clean, and useful.

AcDisplay is similar to the Moto X’s lockscreen in that it only activates certain parts of the display if you have an LED display and it activates the display to give you a preview of what notification just came in, but the biggest similarity between the two is the appearance. Once you receive a notification your device will wake-up and display an icon of the app that the notification was received from, you can then choose to read said notification, open the device right into that app, or just unlock or put your device back to sleep. The best part about this all is that the app works so well, I have been using it for a few days now as my lockscreen and have had no problems what so ever.

If you want to add some more functionality to your lockscreen with AcDisplay all you have to do is delve into its settings. From there you will be able to do things like have your lockscreen activate when you pick up your phone or pull it out of your pocket. If you haven’t at least tried this app before then I strongly urge you to do so, just follow the Play Store link below.
