Many of you walking around with your iPhone 5 or Galaxy S3 in your pocket think you have the most expensive and extravagant smartphone out there, well think again. There is a smartphone available right now made by a company called Vertu that takes expensive and extravagant to a whole new level. They do so with a smartphone called the Vertu TI which cost a whopping $10,000, yes you read that right, $10,000. Why on Earth does this phone cost so much you may ask, well it’s made of some of the most expensive and hard to get materials available and has a built in 24-hour concierge service button.

Now I know your chomping at the bit to hear the hard technical specs so let’s dive right in. The first thing that justifies this smartphone’s extreme price is the material which it is made of, grade 5 black titanium and alligator skin. On top of that the screen has a layer of sapphire on top of it which takes 2 weeks to grow and renders the display virtually unscratchable and makes you think twice about your phones Gorilla Glass. The three capacitive touch buttons each have a ruby underneath them that increases responsiveness. The Vertu TI is powered by a Snapdragon S4  dual-core processor running at 1.7 GHz. As for software specs it is running Android 4.0.4 Ice Cream Sandwich that is virtually stock Android. There is a button on the top left side of the phone that if pressed takes you to a special concierge service app where you can ask for anything 24/7 and it is supplied to you, this service is available to anybody who purchases the Vertu TI free for a year. Also did i mention that almost the entire phone is hand crafted?

So next time you think your phone is luxurious…think again, unless you own a Vertu TI of course.
