This article is mainly directed at those of you who ordered an LG G Watch on the first day of Google I/O, the day it became available. If you did so, your order was marked as “leaving the warehouse” on July 3rd, well Google wasn’t bluffing. Those orders are now today saying that they will be arriving in “1-2 business days”. This is pretty significant news for those of you who ordered a shiny new LG G Watch during Google I/O.

Something that 9to5google also points out about this topic is that the G Watch’s shipping today coincides with the new KMV78v update coming to G Watches. We are assuming that the vast amount of G Watches shipping today will arrive at your doorstep running that software version and all of G Watches such as those obtained at Google I/O will receive the update sometime over the next couple of days.

Were you lucky enough to have attended Google I/O this year and receive an LG G Watch? Let us know when you receive a software update.
