StoreDot, an Israeli based start-up has made a pretty significant claim with a video to back it up. This morning they unveiled a prototype charger that they say will charge your phone battery in thirty seconds flat, sounds like science fiction. StoreDot thought you would think that, so they decided to give us some video evidence which you can watch at the bottom of this article.

The prototype charger you see being used in the demonstration video is described as ‘bio-organic peptide molecules that change the rules of mobile device capabilities’. In the video you see the decent sized charger hooked up to the back of a Samsung Galaxy S4 and charging it in mere seconds as opposed to a couple of hours that our current chargers take.

This comes as huge news in the mobile phone world, this could change the way we use our phones completely knowing that we could charge our phones in seconds. StoreDot has said that they plan on a late 2016 release to the public with a price point of around $30.
