We are getting word that Sprint has sent out press invites this morning for an event they are calling “Hear It For Yourself” that will take place on April 29th. The press invites include no information about what exactly will be going down at this event but we can speculate, we are assuming that Sprint will be discussing its HD Voice roll-out which they have made mention of before. As of right now Sprint’s HD Voice services are only available for Kansas City residents.

The CEO of Sprint, Dan Hesse, has said that HD Voice will be rolling out across the US starting sometime in July, this summer. Sprint currently has more than two dozen smartphones that support HD Voice, when Sprint begins their HD Voice rollout across the country we will more than likely see that number skyrocket.

AndroidMeter will keep you posted on Sprint’s event so stay tuned.
