sprint 4g lte

Sprint has just announced the launch of nine new LTE 4G networks.  The following nine cities now brings the number of Sprint’s live markets to 67.

  • Altoona, Pa.
  • Asheville, N.C.
  • Columbus, Ind.
  • Elkhart/Goshen, Ind.
  • Hammond, La.
  • La Crosse, Wis.
  • San Juan
  • Puerto Rico
  • Statesville, N.C.
  • Temple, Texas

Most of these are located in the Mid-West and on the East Coast but not yet on the West Coast.  This is most likely due to the fact that there are mountains and other terrain on the coast.  Sprint does say that they are working on bringing it to Los Angeles and San Francisco in the near future.
