Sony Mobile has begun the rollout of Android 4.3 Jelly Bean for four of its phones today, the Xperia T, Xperia TX, Xperia V, and Xperia SP. This update will bring the phones up to a newer version of Jelly Bean and bring updated Sony applications.

The Sony apps getting updated are Messaging, Small Apps, Smart Connect, Sony Select, Track ID, Walkman, Album, Movies. Power Management has also received an update including new features to help improve battery life on the Sony handsets. Of course on top of all of this there are the new features and improvements that come with Android 4.3.

While it may not be KitKat we are sure that if you own one of these phones you are chomping at the bit to get this update. Because of this we want to remind you that as usual this is a staged rollout depending on which region you live in and what carrier you are on so if you haven’t received the update at this point then it will hit your phone over the next week or two.
