Tab 10.1 boot screen

As any Android follower knows, the Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1 was given to every person at Google IO 2011.  It was then sold to the public (at least to the public of New York City) on June 8th.  June 17th was the magical day that the entire United States was available to purchase the thinnest tablet around.  When people reboot their 32GB Gray-backed edition (the only version with this icon), the boot loader icon appears.

There has been no news of hacks through this open boot loader but it promises to lead to fast booting any who knows what else.  There are also the security matters. As many know, Google would not allow movie rentals through rooted Motorola Droids for copyright reasons.

Has anyone got their hands on one of these tablets yet? Planning on getting one? Let us know and we will let you know on ground breaking news for this tablet and many other tablets.
