Samsung’s SideSync desktop program which is an automated backup program, remote desktop, and file transfer system was previously only compatible with Samsung’s ATIV laptops and tablets. But now, after the 3.0 update, Samsung’s SideSync program will work with any Samsung Android device and Windows computer.

For those of you who have never used SideSync and aren’t aware of what the program does it’s actually pretty cool, not gimmicky and almost useless like most Samsung apps and programs. It allows users to use their computer’s mouse and keyboard on your Samsung smartphone, you can even preform a full screen mirror of your device on your computer. SideSync also lets the user very easily copy and paste things between the phone and computer.

Oh and by the way the SideSync update adds support for the new Galaxy S5 as well.
