Samsung Wallet

In the past, Samsung has gotten a lot of bad name calling because they design their hardware and some software so that it slightly resembles Apple products. Samsung’s Wallet keeps the user’s boarding passes, event tickets, membership cards and coupons on the application for the user to open up at any time.

At the moment, Google Wallet let’s you do this exact thing with select membership cards but most people do not even use it. With Google Wallet and Apple’s passport applications not even being used by many people, why would Samsung even try to get into that market? They must think that coupling it to the top selling smart phones on the planet will give them some sort of advantage.

At the moment, Wallet is only available to developers but will come to users soon. At launch, Samsung has partnered with Belly, Major League Baseball, Walgreens, Expedia, Booking.com, Hotels.com and Lufthansa.
