Screenshot_2013-02-07-15-29-55Plume for Twitter has updated it’s app to meet Android’s new design guidelines a few months ago, but it’s widget still failed to get updated to Holo until today. As far as functionality the widget is pretty much the same, it’s the appearance that’s different. The widget is now a holo dark theme that looks great and also closely matches the actual app.

There are a few changes that have added some features to the widget. Most notably is the addition of the ability to add multiple columns in both the widget and app that let you switch between users. For people who have multiple Twitter accounts this is a huge deal and makes their life a lot easier. There is also much smoother scrolling that makes the app more of a joy to use.

All of these additions should make Plume users happy and keep them using Plume as their main Twitter client. This update came at an essential time with Carbon for Twitter officially on the Play Store now.
