The closer we get to October, the more leaks we are seeing of the next generation Nexus handset. In the latest round of leaks, the guys at 9to5 Google have published several short videos of the Nexus 5’s lockscreen and the animation seen when locking the phone. In addition to the two short clips of the phone, we also have three new photos of the device that clearly show off the front and rear of the Nexus.
From the third photo that was leaked we can actually see something that is semi new to Android. What it looks like is the boot animation that is on the Google Play Edition Samsung Galaxy S4 and HTC One. Besides these little new details, we can confirm that this phone will be made by LG like we assumed from the Kit-Kat announcement video and the photos that came from FCC reports.
If you choose to watch the videos, please be aware that they were taken at a location that looks like a bar so there is a lot of background noise and some NSFW language.
With these leaks growing faster than ever, it looks like the phone is ready for the market and we should see an official announcement soon. October 14th maybe?
