OnePlus appears to be having a lot of fun teasing their upcoming phone, the OnePlus One, just take a look below at the video they posted today. In the video we are greeted by somebody who works at CyanogenMod who says he will be doing an unboxing of the device, which he does, sort of.  The CyanogenMod worker begins to take out the usual manual and charger for the device, but once he gets to the meat of the unboxing which is the phone itself the video angle switches to his face and all we see is a golden light hit his face.

Obviously CyanogenMod and OnePlus are confident in their upcoming hardware and that’s a good thing but they need to be careful. They have been doing an excellent job in getting this phones name out there and hyping it up which can kill them if this smartphone doesn’t live up to the giant expectations they’ve built it up to live up to. OnePlus has hyped this smartphone up to a point that is almost unachievable in the real world, they keep referring to the OnePlus One as the “no compromise phone”, which is impossible to create, especially at the price point we are hearing about.

We will here much more about the OnePlus One from OnePlus on April 23rd when they reveal the smartphone to the world. Stay posted to AndroidMeter for all the news about the OnePlus One as it becomes available.
