During Google I/O this year Google announced the new ability of Android app developers to release official betas for their apps before they actually hit the play store using platforms like Google+. So far quite a few developers have taken advantage of the ability and now two popular developers are joining the group, the developers of Nova Launcher and Sliding Messaging, two very popular apps on the Google Play Store.

If you use either Nova Launcher or Sliding Messaging then head over to Google+ and join their Google+ communities and then opt-in to their testing program in order to get access to the betas. And don’t worry, if at any time you would like to stop receiving betas and only get the stable releases then you can opt-out of the beta program at any time with either app or any app using the public beta feature.
