Recently a picture was leaked of a new phone by LG called the CX2. It is supposed to be the follow up to the LG Optimus 3D. According to some rumors it is only 9.8mm thick and weighs 20 grams less than the LG Optimus 3D.

The screen has also supposedly been updated to a 720p IPS screen but as far as this rumor goes that is kind of hard to believe because before LG had stated that they were going to stick with a WVGA screen for their second 3D phone. The most interesting thing about this phone is its supposed new LG UI it will be running. The leaked pictures of the phone appear to be running a more polished looking UI which is a great thing for LG users. LG’s current UI is long overdue for an update as its current UI is laggy and seems outdated and old.

Hopefully we will all find out about this new phone during the Mobile World Congress and see what it has going for it so that we can put some of these rumors to rest.
