Well folks as Google I/O approaches the Google related rumors begin to fly and this was is pretty decent news. It seems that a completely redesigned version of the Google Play app has been spotted in the wild, a very colorful redesigned version that is. Everything from the layout to the font seem to be new and much more clean based on the pictures that we’ve seen. But perhaps the most notable change is the resemblance to the Google Play website with the new color scheme that really gives the redesigned app the look of the website version. Aside from the color change there are also bigger icons that really make the app look cleaner and more beautiful as well.

From what Droid-Life is saying the app appears to be pretty broken and unusable at this point in time but we all know that will likely change very soon. I am willing to bet money that the updated version of the Google Play app will be made public very soon so that we can all enjoy its cleaner look.

Below is a video walk-through of the new Play Store via Droid-Life.
