One of the most talked about devices that has barely had its’ name confirmed is the Moto X. So far, the code name has already been leaked which is XFON. In the latest round of “leaks” coming out of @evleaks, it seems that the phone’s specs have been released to the public.
- 1.7GHz dual-core MSM8960 Pro processor
- 720p display
- 2GB RAM
- 16GB internal storage
- 10MP rear camera; 2MP front camera
- Android 4.2.2
If you are like me, it seems like these specs are not what you would expect in a phone that has so much attention. Compared to the HTC One and the Samsung Galaxy S4 the dual-core processor and 720p display are lacking behind the wide use of quad-core processors and 1080p displays. But when you look back to what CEO Dennis Woodside side in an interview, he said this phone would come to the market with tons of sensors that would learn the users habits, predict what the user wants, and display things right as they want to see it.
Motorola has stated that the mysterious phone being built in Texas is supposed to come out this summer. Time will tell!
