We can all agree that Motorola has been doing great things with the Moto line so far with the Moto X and now the Moto G. The big selling point of the Moto G is its irresistible price point that it hits at $179 off-contract. Of course at this price point there are going to be some sacrifices made in certain components of the phone, in the Moto G’s case one of those components is the camera. It’s still a decent camera at 5 MP and Motorola just made it a little better with a software update that crushes some bugs in the camera app and makes pictures the device takes supposedly look slightly better than they did before the update.

This update is great news for Moto G owners because it shows that Motorola isn’t just going to let this phone fall into the background, instead it appears that even though this is a mid to low end smartphone that Motorola is going to show this phone some love. We have looked into some before and after photos taken by the Moto G and there is a noticeable difference, especially in low-light performance. Good job to Motorola and we hope to see more updates follow for the Moto G.
