Over the last couple of days, there have been rumors of Linkedin possibly purchasing one of the most popular news readers on Android and IOS – Pulse.  Today, both Pulse and Linkedin has made official statements that the rumors have been true – Linkedin has purchased Pulse.

If you are a Pulse user, do not worry, both companies have made sure to tell everyone that the user experience will not change, for now.  Obviously there will be some changes with the new ownership and hopefully it will be for the good since most people really enjoy the news application.

It has not been completely confirmed but it is said that the purchase price was around $90 million.
