When Google announced that they would be making a version of Android for wearable called Android Wear, LG announced that they had been working on a smart watch that would be powered by it. This watch is the LG G Watch. There is very little know about this square smart watch but the latest rumor is that it will cost £180 in the UK.

According to Pocket-Lint LG has confirmed that the G Watch will be out before July and will cost £180 . This in US Dollars is about $300 but we hope that there will be some sort of price difference between the two currencies. As for the date, it sounds like the watch might be officially announced and released at Google I/O in June.

Pocket-lint was also able to get their hands on a prototype of the device. The model they were able to look at was just a dummy unit but was supposed to be the final hardware model. The build of the watch is supposedly very high quality with a seem-less and button-less design. From looking at the pictures, we can see that it will charge via pogo pins just like almost every smart watch on the market now. No specs have been leaked or announced so we will have to wait and see what is inside the LG G Watch.
