Over the last several weeks LG has been promoting the announcement of the LG G3 with shadowed photos of the phone and recently of its newly designed case. This morning it looks like LG decided it would just announce the case earlier than the May 27th announcement date for the phone.

As i said above, the LG G3 is going to be announced on May 27th which is less than a week away. I guess LG figured it wouldn’t be much of an announcement for the case so they let all of us know about it early. Over the last couple of weeks we have seen numerous leaks of the G3 but it is funny that LG would choose to release a video that clearly shows off the front of the LG.

In the video we learn that the Quick Circle can be used for a lot more than just answering calls, taking pictures, and looking at notifications like in Samsung Galaxy S5’s Quick View Case. Applications can be make to support the small window panel so users can do a lot more with their phone without having to open the front flap. Additionally, this case will bring wireless Qi charging to the phone.

We will be at the May 27th LG G3 announcement event in San Francisco so make sure to come back to AndroidMeter to learn more about the LG G3 and anything else they have in store.
