HTC just had their Mobile World Congress event and announced a new mid-range smartphone, the Desire 816. The Desire 816 is HTC’s attempt at offering a powerful Android smartphone at a reasonable and affordable price point. Here is what Peter Chou CEO of HTC had to say about the Desire 816:

  • 5.5-inch 720p Display
  • Boomsound
  • 13MP Rear Camera
  • Sense 5.5
  • Quad-Core Snapdragon 400 processor
  • 1.5GB of RAM
