Today Sony released the Ice Cream Sandwich (ICS) Alpha Rom  (Android 4.0.1) for the following devices: Xperia arc S, Xperia neo V and ,Xperia ray.  This is great news for developers out there wanting to get a taste of ICS on there Xperia devices. This is the first time Sony has done this and we are glad they have started this. They are excited to see what the developers can do with this ROM. However, before you go and download it, you should read that this ROM is in its Alpha stages and is Strictly for “Advanced Developers”.

Since this is just an Alpha ROM not everything is going to work like FM-Radio, ANT+, Wifi, Bluetooth, Google apps, and the modem (which means the sim card wont be recognized so you can no make phone calls). As you can see here this ROM is not going to be for you to use as an everyday ROM. So go and try it but, DO IT AT YOUR OWN RISK.
