It’s here folks, the Google Search app appears to have been updated to version 3.3 just a short while ago. Version 3.3 of the Google Search app is now rolling out to Android users. Google has posted a changelog along with this update and here are the changes listed:

  • Traffic incidents on your route
  • Support for cricket
  • Set reminders for chains
  • “Ok Google” hotword detection now works for German and French

Now take note that these changes require you to be running Android 4.1 Jelly Bean or higher due to these features using Google Now which was not incorporated into Android until 4.1. The update is rolling out which means you might not receive the update right away so some patience is in order. But needless to say, head to the Play Store through our link below and see if the update to Search is waiting for you.
