Google Play Event Invite

All of last week the official KitKat Google Plus page has been posting hints at the possible announcement of Android 4.4 KitKat.  Since it has been nothing but guesses at when this unveiling event will be held, we have been waiting for press events to head out.  The Android world got excited when Google sent out announcements but unfortunately it looks like the event is not for the announcement of the LG Nexus 5 and Android 4.4 KitKat.

The invitation states that the event is for “Movies, music, [and] games…” so I am guessing that we will see improvements to all of Google’s services.  According to Geek.com, the event is actually not going to announce any new hardware or the new version of Android.  We are actually kind of confused about what this invite could mean because no one else seems to have received one and as of this writing, Geek.com has actually taken down their post about the invitation.

We will have to wait and see what happens on the 24th and if anything else might be announced as we approach the end of October.
