A little bit of breaking news here folks, the Google Chrome Google+ page just posted that Google Now notifications will be incorporated into Chrome on the desktop today and rolling out to everybody over the next couple of weeks. Here is what the Google+ post said word for word:

“Starting today and rolling out over the next few weeks, Google Now notifications will be available to Chrome users on their desktop or laptop computers. To enable this feature, simply sign in to Chrome with the same Google Account you’re using for Google Now on Android or iOS”

Google Now notifications are currently available on the Google Chrome Beta for desktop and its great to now see them coming to the stable channel of Chrome. Is this a feature that you have been waiting for on the desktop? Let us know in the comments below.
