While going through code for Google Glass’s companion Android App, Reddit user Fodwim came across some pretty special lines of code. The lines of code were blatantly titled ‘eye gestures’ that gave away the fact that Google Glass’s built-in sensor should be able to detect eye activity such as blinking and use that as an input. Two lines of said code made mention of these ‘eye gestures’ being able to be disabled or enabled by the user which obviously means this will be an optional feature. Other lines of code also suggest that you will be able to calibrate the wink detection to your own wink which is nice I guess.

So not only are we always going to be looking up and to the right all the time, we’re also going to be blinking over and over again like crazy people to take pictures or make a selection in a menu.
