It looks like Google+ has received a hefty update today folks that redesigns your stream and changes the apps setup flow as well as a few more things. Let me just say guys that the redesigned stream looks great and really makes it feel more like a modern social media app because lets face it the previous stream was just mainly focused on images, not comments or 1+’ing like it should have. This new stream is more focused on 1+’ing and comments for instance if you look at a post the comments will scroll at the bottom of the post allowing you to see all of them without having to open the post.

Here is the full changelog for today’s update:

– New stream design (including comment previews and swiping through photo albums inline)
– Control the volume of posts that you see in your stream from individual circles/communities
– New app setup flow
– Filter search results by best or most recent
– Tell others about a community (by sharing it or sending an invitation)
– Re-share posts to communities
– Share your current location on your profile and control who can see it via G+ settings
