Well CyanogenMod fans it looks like you can check off the box labeled CyanogenMod on 10 million devices because CyanogenMod today announced just that. Technically CyanogenMod didn’t announce this but according to their official statistics page just over 10 million devices are now running CyanogenMod. This is no small feat folks especially for a small group of weekend coders who do this stuff in their free time (well it used to be that way).

Now that CyanogenMod is an official business it’s going to be interesting to see them hopefully rise up and one day take on the likes of popular Android software creators like Samsung and HTC. Whatever happens next for CyanogenMod we here at AndroidMeter wish them the best and hope to see them in the big leagues one day.
