The AndroidMeter team was given the opportunity to be press at CES 2014 this year. Our first press event was CES Unveiled where we saw many new cool and interesting products and we were like a walking booth ourselves because our entire team has Google Glass.
One of the companies we visited was Cobra and one of their new products that they were showing off was the SPX 7800BT. This product is a radar detector that prides itself on being the world’s smallest and gives you double the detection range of previous models. It was also announced as an honoree of the esteemed CES Innovations 2014 Design and Engineering Award.
The SPX 7800BT offers IntelliShield™ quad-level false signal rejection, pin-point radar frequency, auto mute/IntelliMute™/IntelliMute Pro™, super-charged LaserEye™ 360 laser detection, 5-level graphical signal strength meter, voice alert, car battery voltage display, low car battery warning and super-bright white OLED graphics display. You can also choose the color of your SPX 7800BT and have access to the Cobra iRadar Community. The iRadar Community is actually really helpful because when any other iRadar detects a laser or radar, it’s sent to the servers and if you’re in the “Threat Area” then you will be notified. This community also allows you the opportunity to mark the location of police officers!
The SPX 7800BT is now available for $229.95
Another cool product that we saw at the Cobra booth was the JumPack. The JumPack is a portable powerpack able to jump-start your car and power up your phone and other accessories. Personally we like how the JumPack is not only small and portable but it still packs a lot of power. The 4 LED lights that show your battery status are really nice as well.
The JumPack features a 200A starting current, 400A peak current, 2.1 Amp USB Output and a 7500 mAh Li-Cobalt Battery. With this huge battery, it is even available to charge multiple devices at once.
The JumPack will be available in April for $129.95.
