Vine is a company that Twitter bought awhile back that had an application for recording short segments of video that can be sociably shared. Unfortunately for Android users, the app was only released on IOS. Luckily, the co-creator of the application as spoken to TheVerge about the possibility of something new coming from the company.
As it turns out, Vine is planning to release the application on the Android Play Store that has been at the top of the charts on Apple’s app store. When Vine comes to Android, it will also include a feature that allows users to tag their friends in the video clips. Unfortunately, this is not an Android exclusive – this update is coming to IOS as well but Apple has not approved it yet.
Have any of you played with Vine yet on an IOS device? How was your experience with the application? Think it will be popular on Android? Let us know!
