Google announced today through it’s Google Chrome Releases Blogspot that they will release an update (build 16664) with improvements, bug fixes and adjustments to volume. Most of the update is for fixes and improvements that go on in the background, so you shouldn’t notice much of a difference.

Included in the update:

  • Bug fixes and stability improvements
  • Chromecast audio volume level is retained across sessions
  • Improved IPv6 support
  • Improved DNS robustness

The update will in stall automatically once it rolls out next week. No need to worry about having to update manually!

(Author) - I am currently working hard to learn everything I can about Android development. I am a sucker for great design and you can often find me scouring the Play Store for a lovely designed app. I have been into technology since I can remember. I can still picture my room filled with the all the electronics I took apart just so I could figure out how they work (poor Game Boy Color). I love how technology enriches peoples lives and allows us all to connect in such amazing ways. My daily driver is the Nexus 5 and I recently got a Moto G to tinker with. You bet you will be seeing me with an Android Wear device on in the near future!
