Today Google Chrome for Android was updated and the biggest change in the update appears to be the new inclusion of audio playback. This is made possible by the newly added V8 JavaScript engine. If your wondering exactly what audio playback is it is like this, if your listening to audio from within Chrome and switch to another app then the audio will continue to play. This is a very nice feature that Chrome can add to it’s ever growing arsenal of features. This update also pauses audio coming from Chrome when a phone call comes in. Below is a link to download the updated Google Chrome app directly from the Play Store.
