Finally AT&T has pushed out the official Ice Cream Sandwich update for the Skyrocket. The regular Galaxy S2 got it last month and Skyrocket owners have been waiting patiently for their update ever since. If you want the update you will have to go onto Samsung’s website and download Kies which is Samsung’s Version of iTunes. I personally just updated my phone and it should take you about 15-20 minutes to get it done.

Once your Skyrocket is updated you will notice right away that your phone will be running smoother and quicker which is very nice. You will also gain access to many apps on the Google Play Store that you did not have access to on Gingerbread.

The Good:

Smoother interface

New apps such as Chrome are now available

Face Unlock

Voice talk

Slightly better battery life

The Bad:

Touchwiz masks a lot of the beauty ICS has
