Febuary has been the month of updates for the Asus Transformer Prime.  Asus has become one of my favoriote companies just by the way they support their customers and actually listen to them.  When the Prime was announced/released, many people were frustrated with the fact that there was a locked bootloader and the number of bugs on board.  Asus then went to the public and promised a fix for both issues and so far they have lived up to that promise!

Asus announced the arrival of the unlocking tool on FaceBook while saying, “we pride ourselves on delivering the best experience for our fans and users throughout our products’ life cycles.”  Most companies say similar comments but they never show any sign that it is true.  Asus has worked their butts’ off making sure everyone is happy with their devices – even promising an ICS update for the origional Transformer.

With the download for the bootloader unlocker, Asus has given some words of warning: It only works with the Transformer Prime model TF201 and the device must already be running Android 4.0. They warn that once you activate the utility you will not be able to recover your ASUS product (“Original Product”) back to original locked condition and the Revised Product will no longer be covered under the warranty of the Original Product.

Since the arrival of the unlockable bootloader, ClockWorkMod Recovery and a custom ROM haver already been released.
