With more major games coming to Android, more people are using their Android devices to play games.  With systems like NVIDIA’s Project Shield and the OUYA, Android is being used in major video game systems.  Archos has taken what is already on the market (a mid-level Android tablet) and added video game controls (triggers, buttons, and joysticks).  The GamePad has been available over seas for awhile and is finally on sale in the U.S. after it had been shown off at this years CES.  This tablet/gaming system runs Android 4.1 and is powered by a 1.6GHz dual-core CPU and a Mali-400 MP GPU.  It has a 7-inch display with a 1024×600 resolution and is 0.3-inch thick.  You can find the GamePad for a price between $179 and $189.

Would any of you buy this?  It isn’t the highest spec tablet but it works perfectly for casual gaming.  Let us know!
