Apple has been trying to sue everyone it seems like over their mobile phones.  Recently Apple won a lawsuit again HTC in the USA over some potential patent infringements.  One of Apple’s other major patent battles is against Samsung.  Currently they are claiming that not only is the Galaxy Tab 10.1 infringing against their patents but also the Infuse 4G, Galaxy S 4G, and Droid Charge.

Well now Apple has successfully stopped the sales of the Galaxy Tab 10.1 in Europe. The Regional Court of Dusseldorf has banned the sales in every European country except the Netherlands.  With this ruling there is a maximum price of $350k on ever infringement and potential jail time for the heads of Samsung if they continue infringing on Apple’s patents.

Previously, Samsung has said:

“Samsung believes there is no legal basis for this motion, We will continue to serve our customers and sales of Samsung products will proceed as usual. Samsung will continue to actively defend and protect our intellectual property to ensure our continued innovation and growth in the mobile communication business.”
