Two applications hit the Google Play store today and from the looks of it the downloads have been pouring in. With a four out of five star rating these apps must be pretty good.

The first application, CyanogenMod ROMs, enables users to download CM7 (Android 2.3), CM9 (Android 4.0), and CM10 (Android 4.1) directly to their phone for flashing. This application completely eliminates the need for a computer to download and flash ROMs from CyanogenMod. The application is constantly updated with the latest builds for CM7, CM9, & CM10. Along side the downloads there is also links to the offical threas for CM10 ROMs, kernel downloads, and GAPPS download links.

The second application, AOKP ROMs, is pretty much the same as the first application, but allows you to download AOKP Milestone 6 and the current Jelly Bean Builds. At this exact time the Jelly Bean build list is incomplete as the developer feels there aren’t enough supported devices to fully release the list. Though he says by October 15th the full Jelly Bean list will be uploaded to the application.

Both of these applications are pretty nifty especially for flashing ROMs on the go. Never be tethered to your computer again just to flash a new ROM or the latest build of your current ROM.

The developer has also stated that OTA update ability will be added in the near future.

Check out these applications and let us know what you think in the comments. Do you love the app or hate it?

ALSO: THE DEVELOPER HAS STATED THAT HE IS IN NO WAY ASSOCIATED WITH EITHER CYANOGENMOD OR AOKP!
