Did you know that you can reset your apps that you have assigned as defaults for certain tasks? For example, having Chrome set as your default browser that would launch whenever you clicked a link. Now you may be asking yourself, “how do I assign default apps in the first place?.” You know that pop-up that appears (for example) when you click a link? It usually shows two or more applications and then you click one and then click either “Just Once” or “Always.” Well if you choose an app and then click “Always” it will be set as the default app for handling that specific task.

Once you set an app for a default task it is a little bit of a process to reset the defaults for that specific task but we’re going to tell you how to do just that step by step. What you are going to want to do is go to Settings > Apps > ‘app you want to reset defaults for’ > Clear Defaults. If you follow those simple steps then the next time you click a link you will get the pop-up that lets you choose the default app once again.

If you follow the above steps and still need help or something goes wrong then feel free to drop us a comment and we will be more than happy to help you out .
