With the release of Android 4.0 (Ice Cream Sandwich), lots of people have speculated that Android might soon be hitting a plateau.  With the news that Andy Rubin has shared with us, there is no evidence of this happening in the near future.  Back in June, it was announced that roughly 500,000 Android devices were being activated daily; now Rubin has shared the fantastic news that 700,000 lucky people are activating their brand new device daily.  These number only count for people adding their device to a mobile network so the actual number could be much higher then the given data.  In the future we could easily see over a million new devices activated daily if the figures stay steady!
