SIM-card (1)Right behind the Nexus 10 is the new WiFi+3G version of Google’s Nexus 7 tablet, which is set to go on sale in Japan in the next couple of days. Like the Nexus 7 3G which has been available elsewhere since late 2012 there had been no official Japanese launch.

Now Japanese site Impress Watch says that the launch is imminent with Feb. 9 set as the release date. The Japanese version’s hardware according to the site is the same as in other markets. Upon release the Nexus 7 is said to sell for the equivalent of $318.
